The veteran Castleton State players put their experience and home field advantage to good use against a traveling Chargers side. Play by the Spartans wasn't flashy, but the consistent, organized attack and defensive pressure left little opportunity for Colby-Sawyer to mount any real scoring drives.
A couple of long break-a-way runs by Freshman wing Samantha Wilson and Seniors Jillian Dearville and Katie Brownell saw the Chargers players hauled down just before the goal line and short of any points.
A tough road loss to end the season. Chargers finish the season 3 – 3.
