Unfortunate lost against Bates College, but a good start to a season.
What a powerhouse of a scrum! Tight five in the scrum- Cheryl Meserve, Jill Dunn, Brittney Blackington, Sarah Lewis and newcomer Kim Spicer did a great job of over-powering Bates scrum right off the bat.
Newcomers Dana Blauss, Kaila Tallman, Morganne Sterl, and Kim Spicer went into the game with only two weeks of practice under their belts - started the game giving 110% and ended the game giving 120%.
Backline players - Casie Monohan, Katie Brownell, Sam Dodge, Kaila Tallman - using their "wheels" to their advantage!
Props to the games captains - Laine Margolin, Julie Cookish, and Sarah Lewis for leading the team during the game when positions needed to be changed and directing traffic during the game.

Congratulations to Sarah Lewis (senior) for receiving "The Golden Boot Award"! Not only did Sarah score the try of the game off of a rolling maul but also has stepped up tremendously as a player and as a leader on the field! Again, Congratulations Sarah!
