NEW LONDON, N.H. - October 2, 2010 - The Colby-Sawyer men's soccer team defeated the Seahawks of Salve Regina 2-0, to improve to 5-5 overall and 4-1 in TCCC play.

The Chargers scored two first half goals in their fourth TCCC win of the season. Colby-Sawyer has won three of the last four matches against the Seahawks.
Ryan Drown scored his first collegiate goal at the five minute mark of the first half to lift the Chargers to an early 1-0 lead. The defense held strong for the remainder of the half and the game.
Colby-Sawyer got an insurance goal off one of the top teams in the conference in the 35th minute.
Zach Charron was able to beat the keeper for his second goal of the season.
Derek Veilleux was credited with the assist on each of the goals.
Will Berry was solid in net once again for the Chargers. He made eight saves in earning his fifth shutout of the season.
Colby-Sawyer returns to action on Tuesday when they travel to the University of New England. Kick off is set for 6:30pm.
