Terri Duffy (Marshfield, Mass.) became the 11th Colby-Sawyer women's basketball player to eclipse the 1000 career points mark after scoring a game-high 17 points in a 66-60 loss to Suffolk on Tuesday. Duffy made a three-pointer with 5:07 remaining to give her points 1000, 1001 and 1002.

Emma Pasquale '09 who recorded her 1005 point in her final game of last season.
The Chargers trailed by seven at half-time, but could not make the come back due to a 28.6 shooting percentage for the game. Colby Sawyer managed to come out strong in the second half with an 11-2 run and retaking the lead. The Chargers led by as many as 4-points with 12 minutes remaining in the game. Suffolk would later regain control as Meghan Black and Mara Dreiser combined for 23 of the Rams 32 second-half points.
The big momentum shift came with as both Dreiser and freshman Jaqueline Vienneau had steals on back-to-back Charger positions that lead to fast break points for the Rams. Vienneau finished with 11 points and 8 rebounds for the Rams.
Freshman
Sammi Lehr scored eight points and pulled down 16 rebounds for the second straight game. Sophomore
Maggie Rossi played well with 14 points and a career-high seven rebounds, while senior
Amy Hebert grabbed a career-high 10 rebounds. Freshman
Taylor DeSanty scored 14 points. Duffy added nine rebounds to her 17 points.
The Chargers return to action on Tuesday, December 1 with their first home game of the season. The team will host Plymouth State at 7:00 p.m.
