NEW LONDON, N.H. – The Colby-Sawyer College Women's Basketball program will host a
3x3 Skills Clinic on
Friday, August 8, offering high school players the opportunity to experience a day of college-level training while developing the skills that translate directly to game success.
Open to athletes entering
grades 9-12 this fall, the clinic will introduce participants to the growing game of 3x3 basketball while emphasizing the core concepts of decision-making, spacing, communication, and basketball IQ.
Recently featured on the Olympic stage, 3x3 basketball has become one of the most effective player development tools in the game. With fewer players on the court, athletes receive more touches, make more decisions, and experience more game-like repetitions than in traditional drills, accelerating skill development while building confidence and court awareness.
Throughout the day, participants will train alongside the Colby-Sawyer Women's Basketball coaching staff and current student-athletes through competitive skill instruction, small-sided games, and live 3x3 competition. The clinic is designed to challenge players in a fun, fast-paced environment while helping them become more complete basketball players.
The clinic will be held inside the historic
Dan & Kathleen Hogan Sports Center on the campus of Colby-Sawyer College. Registration includes lunch, and participants will also have the option to take a campus tour following the conclusion of the clinic.
