WHITINGHAM, Vt. – March 30, 2015 – Colby-Sawyer women's outdoor track and field student-athletes
Rachel Quaye (Westminster, Mass.) and
Emmani Robinson (Newburgh, N.Y.) have been honored by the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) for their performances at last week's Tufts Snowflake Classic.
Freshman
Emmani Robinson was named NAC Rookie of the Week for the second straight time. She placed second in the shot put event, which featured student-athletes from all three divisions. She improved on last week's ECAC and New England qualifying mark with a distance of 11.93m.
Sophomore
Rachel Quaye was named NAC Field Athlete of the Week. She led the way for the Colby-Sawyer at Saturday's Tufts Snowflake Classic by winning the javelin event, which featured 21 competitors. Quaye achieved the win by recording a distance of 38.11 meters.
The Chargers return to action this Saturday at Fitchburg State.
