WOMEN'S TRACK START SECOND HALF OF INDOOR SCHEDULE AT PANTHER INVITE

PLYMOUTH, N.H. - The Colby-Sawyer women's indoor track and field team took on the Plymouth Panther Invite on Saturday morning with six personal bests across multiple event groups to start second half of their schedule. 

Rapid Recp:
  • The Chargers had a pair of first years in the 60m dash who came away with personal bests on the day. Tara Clark (Wilmington, Mass.) would lead the way with a time of 9.21 during her season debut. Kaleigh Dinsmore would also see a personal best with a time of 9.62 while also coming away with a best in long jump with a 3.79m mark.
  • Leah O'Neill (Peabody, Mass.) would lead the charge of four Chargers in the mile with a 23 second improvement in the indoor mile with a time of 5:39.95.
  • Jacklyn Anderson (Hanover, N.H.) would take on the 3000m where she would finish 5th overall, scoring 4 points for the Chargers with a time of 12:27.74.
  • On the field side, Teddy Pollack (Arlington, Mass.) would have a spectacular day in the throwing events that would see two personal bests. Pollack would finish with a .30m improvement with a mark of 10.02m. She would carry that momentum into weight throw and finish a full meter better than a month ago, with a mark of 12.74m.
Inside the Numbers:
  • The Chargers would finish with 20 points on the day with 6th place finish as a team. 
  • The Chargers currently have 11 ranked within scoring positions within the GNAC for next month's championship.
