Biography

AT COLBY-SAWYER
2022: Kovacs saw action in 16 matches, including 13 starts in 2022 for the Chargers. In 46 sets Andrew ended the year with 43 kills, 16 digs and six rejections. Kovacs ended the season with his best game with five kills, four digs and a block on April 2nd against Emmanuel College. 

2021: The team did not compete due to COVID-19. 

2020: Kovacs joined the team in 2020 and led the team with 22 blocks on nine solos and 13 assists. He recorded at least one block in nine of his appearances. Kovacs posted the fourth most kills on the team with 63, in the shortened season. He tallied nine kills twice during the season. Kovacs hit .615 with nine kills in a 3-0 win over Sarah Lawrence on Jan. 19 and later had nine kills on .381 hitting in a win over Dean on Feb. 26.
