Biography

As a senior: Townsend went 5-2 in singles and 4-2 in doubles in his final season. He won all three of his conference singles matches and both of his conference doubles matches. 

As a junior: Townsend went 4-0 in all matches with a 3-0 singles record and a 1-0 doubles record. All four wins came against conference opponents. 

As a sophomore: Townsend won his lone singles match without dropping a game to Castleton's No. 6 player. He split a pair of No. 3 doubles matches with the win coming against Castleton. 

At Hampden: Alex played tennis for the Broncos. He was named KVAC tennis first team and played in a 3 hour, 45 minute match in 2012. 

Personal: Son of Melissa and Eric. Alex is a Sport Management major.
