2023: Ayotte started in 17 of the 18 games played this 2023 season and was named a team captain prior to the start of the year. Carly logged 820 minutes as a key in the defensive unit for the Chargers. Carly registered her first collegiate defensive save on October 10th against Rivier. Ayotte was later named to the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division III All Academic Squad maintaining a cumulative grade-point average of 3.5 or higher through the first semester of the 2023 academic year. Carly was also selected as a College Sports Communicator (CSC) All-Academic Squad member.

2022: Ayotte saw action in 16 games for the Chargers in 2022 making nine starts. Carly logged over 674 minutes from the defensive position. Ayotte made her first collegiate start on October 5th against Anna Maria College in a 6-0 win. Ayotte was later named to 2022 National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division III National Academic Squad joining eight other Chargers maintaining a cumulative grade-point average of 3.5 or higher through the first semester of the 2022 academic year.

2021: Ayotte saw action in nine games for Colby-Sawyer in 2021. Carly scored her first collegiate goal in 2021 against Albertus Magnus College on October 9th in an 11-3 Chargers victory. Ayotte was later named to 2021 National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division III National Academic Squad joining 13 other Chargers maintaining a cumulative grade-point average of 3.5 or higher through the first semester of the 2021 academic year.

2020: The team did not compete due to COVID-19. Ayotte was named a 2020 National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division III Scholar of Distinction list maintaining a 3.9 or higher cumulative grade-point average during the first semester of the 2020-21 school year.

PRIOR TO COLBY-SAWYER: Graduate of Monadnock Regional High School and was a three-sport participant. Was a New Hampshire All-State First Team and Second Team member in Field Hockey, All-State Honorable Mention in Basketball and played for the softball team. Ayotte was a;so a Female Athlete of the Year nominee and a NHIAA Scholar-Athlete Award winner in high school.
