AT COLBY-SAWYER
2023:
Murph ended her collegiate career in style putting up a historic season for the Chargers. Aleah ended the year with 26 points with nine goals, eight assists and a new program-record of 11 defensive saves. Murph ranked 5th in Division III with the 11 defensive saves and first in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC). Aleah's best game of the season came on October 21st against the University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) with a pair of goals in a 3-1 victory. Murph added a program record three defensive save performance on October 7th at Lasell. Aleah was later named as a member of the GNAC All-Conference First Team and was a National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) 2023 Division III All-Region First Team Selection being the first ever in program history. She was also named to the NFHCA Academic Squad scoring above a 3.5 or higher cumulative grade point average throughout the first semester of the 2023 academic year. Aleah was also selected as a College Sports Communicator (CSC) All-Academic Squad member. Murph ends her career holding the program record in defensive saves (20), tied for the program record in assists (22), 4th most points in program history (64) and 6th most goals in program history (21). 

2022: Murph had a dominant second year in New London starting all 19 games netting 32 points on 11 goals and 10 assists to go with a program-record six defensive saves. Aleah ranked 11th in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) in goals (11), 8th in assists (10) and 3rd in defensive saves (6). Murph had her first big game of the year on September 10th tallying two goals and an assist in a 5-0 win at the University of Saint Joseph. Aleah had another five point game on September 17th against Dean College scoring a pair of goals to go with another assist in a 9-1 victory. Murph added a stellar defensive game on October 18th at Johnson & Wales University with a program-record three defensive saves. Aleah was later named to the GNAC All-Conference First Team and selected as the GNAC Defensive Player of the Year. Murph added a National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) 2022 Division III All-Region Second Team Selection as well as being on the NFHCA National Academic Squad scoring above a 3.5 or higher cumulative grade point average throughout the first semester of the 2022 academic year. Murph was also awarded the Chargie for the Charger Female Athlete of the Year in 2022-23. Aleah ranks 8th in Colby-Sawyer field hockey program history in points (38), 5th in assists (14), and 1st all-time in defensive saves (9). 

2021: Murph was a difference maker from the start for the Chargers starting all 20 games for Colby-Sawyer in 2021. Aleah finished the year with one goal and four assists, while making three defensive saves. Murph scored her first collegiate goal on October 9th, netting the game-winner at Albertus Magnus College. Murph's best game of the season was against Keene State on September 8th dishing out two assists and making a defensive save as the Chargers picked up a big 5-4 win. Murph was named to the GNAC All-Conference Second Team as well as being recognized as a member of the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) 2021 Division III National Academic Squad scoring above a 3.3 or higher cumulative grade point average throughout the first semester of the 2021 academic year. Murph ends her first season ranked tied for third all-time in defensive saves (3). 

PRIOR TO COLBY-SAWYER: Graduate of Derring High School and was a Maine All-State and All-Conference member in high school. Murph was also a senior captain. Murph spent her first year at Castleton University, however the team did not participate due to COVID-19.
