AT COLBY-SAWYER
2022: Gnieski saw action in 16 matches for the Chargers making 12 starts in 2022. AJ played in 50 sets finishing with 219 assists, 55 digs, 11 service aces and nine kills. On February 26th against Wentworth, Gnieski had a good night dishing 28 assists to go with three digs and a kill. Gnieski added a big game on March 19th against Emerson. AJ ended the night with a season-high 31 assists to go with a pair of kills, and three digs.
2021: The team did not compete due to COVID-19.
2020: Gnieski continued to run the offense and tallied 405 assists in the shortened 2020 season. He also led the team with 46 aces with a season high eight coming in a 3-0 win over Dean on February 1st. Gnieski posted a season best 39 assists in a 3-1 win over Dean on Feb. 26. He also helped defensively, picking up the third most digs on the team with 91.
2019: Gnieski guided the offense with 523 assists to go along with 100 digs and 25 aces. He ranked second on the team in aces and fourth in digs. Gnieski was 58th in the nation with 6.71 assists per set. He collected a season best 42 assists in a 3-2 win over Newbury on January 26.
PRIOR TO COLBY-SAWYER: Graduate of Needham High School, where Gnieski was a First Team Bay State All-Conference All-Star.
