Biography

As a senior: Jigrup earned his his third NAC Player of the Year award in as many years. He also was named First Team Singles and Doubles. Jigrup went 7-7 at the top singles flight and 14-5 at No. 1 doubles. Against conference opponents, he went a perfect 4-0 in both singles and doubles. In three years of action, Jigrup went undefeated against NAC competition going 13-0 in singles and 13-0 in doubles. One of his conference wins came against Thomas' top player who was previously unbeaten. Jigrup and doubles partner Mathieu combined for signature wins at No. 1 doubles over Colby, Wheaton, Nichols and Division II Saint Anselm. Jigrup finished his career by accounting for one of the team's points in the NCAA Tournament First Round with a doubles victory against Wilkes. 

As a junior: Jigrup was named NAC Player of the Year for the second straight season. He also landed on the All-NAC Singles First Team and All-NAC Doubles First Team. Jigrup led the team with a 16-8 overall singles record, while also going 4-0 in conference action at the top flight. One of Jigrup's team leading 16 wins came in the NCAA Tournament against Baruch. In NAC East doubles competition, he went 4-0 with a 3-0 record at No. 1 and 1-0 at No. 2. Impressively during the fall season, Jigrup won the B Singles title at the Nichols College Tennis Invitational by winning both of his matches in straight sets over competitors from Clark and Nichols. He earned a pair of NAC Player of the Week awards. 

As a sophomore: Jigrup was named NAC Player of the Year, All-NAC Singles First Team and All-NAC Doubles First Team. He was tied for second on the team with 13 singles wins, 11-4 at No. 1 and 2-0 at No. 3. In conference action, he went a perfect 5-0 at the top-flight in singles and 4-0 at No. 1 doubles and 1-0 at No. 2 doubles. One of his most impressive conference victories was his 7-5, 6-4 win over Green Mountain's Connor Braden, as he gave the Eagles' top player his first and only loss of the season. Jigrup was also stellar out of conference helping his team claim wins over two CCC rivals. He earned his team a point at No. 3 singles to lead Colby-Sawyer to a 6-3 win over the CCC's top team, Nichols, which was the first time in seven years that the Chargers have beaten the Bison. Jigrup then collected a victory over Gordon's No. 1, who went 14-2, to help his team earn a 5-4 victory. The sophomore also claimed some impressive out of division singles victories, as he beat two Division II players, Bentley's No. 1 and Southern New Hampshire's No. 3, while also earning a win against Division I Siena's top-player, leading Colby-Sawyer to a 4-3 victory. He added nine doubles victories including an 8-5 win with Andrew Peloquin against Nichols in the NCAA Tournament and an 8-4 triumph over Bentley.
