As a senior: Coffey, a team captain, represented the Chargers on the GNAC All-Sportsmanship Team. He was second on the team with 15.8 points and led the squad with 31.6 minutes per game. He also averaged 4.7 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game. Coffey earned a GNAC Player of the Week award earlier in the season. Among conference players, Coffey was 11th in assists (76) and 13th in points per game. He scored the game-winning bucket to lift the team to a 77-76 win over Anna Maria on Feb. 1. Coffey then scored the game-winning basket to beat Lasell on Feb. 8. Coffey had a tremendous career in the Colby-Sawyer uniform. He ended his collegiate career ranked seventh in scoring with 1,580 points and seventh in field goals made with 630. Coffey started in 93 of his 104 appearances.
As a junior: Coffey was named to the All-GNAC Third Team. He led the Chargers with 18.3 points per game. He scored double digits in all but one of his games and scored at least 25 points six times. He shot 47.4% from the floor and 39.7% from beyond the arc. Coffey ranked 2nd in the league and 31st in the country by shooting 88% from the free throw line. On January 19 against Albertus Magnus, Coffey became the program’s 21st member of the 1000-point club.
As a sophomore: Coffey was named to the All-NAC Second Team. He was third on the team with 14.4 points per game. He scored double-digits in 25 of his 27 games played. Coffey ranked third on the team in rebounds per game (4.8), assists (56), steals (39) and blocks (13). He started in 26 of 27 appearances. He collected a career best seven assists in a win at Johnson on Feb. 17.
As a freshman: Coffey played all 26 games and earned 16 starts, including the final 15 games of the season. He was third on the team with 12.3 points per game and third with 31 steals. Coffey scored a season best 30 points on 11-22 in a NAC quarterfinal game at Thomas. He was in the scoring column in 24 of the 26 games and reached double digits 17 times.
At Westford Academy: Patrick played basketball and volleyball for the Grey Ghosts. He was a DCL All-Star, a Lowell Sun First Team selection and won the Central Mass. championship in basketball. Patrick also won the North Mass. Sectionals in volleyball.
