Summary

Biography

As a senior: Nosal placed 59th at the 2016 NAC Championship where the Chargers took home the program's first conference title. Earlier in the season, he finished 54th as the team came away with second place at the Keene State Invitational. 

As a junior: Matthew was named to the NAC All-Academic Team. He collected a pair of top-30 finishes highlighted by a 19th place finish at New England College to help the Chargers finish third. 

As a sophomore: Matthew competed in seven of the Chargers' nine races in 2014. He helped the team win the Castleton Invitational on September 7 with his top finish of the season. He placed 17th in a time of 29:05. The previous week he had a solid finish of 37th at New England College. 

As a freshman: Matthew turned in his best time of the season in his first collegiate race. At New England College, Nosal clocked in at 21:20. 

At Manchester West: Matthew earned letters in cross country, indoor and outdoor track. He was named team captain as a senior. Matthew is a member of the National Honor Society. 

Personal: Son of Ed and Kim. Has a sister named Stephanie. Matthew is an English and Creative Writing double major and also a member of the Colby-Sawyer track & field team.
