Summary

Biography

As a senior: Hood went 1-2 in four starts on the mound in 2018. He battled through injury and tossed 17 innings of work. 

As a junior: Hood led the pitching staff with a 1.59 ERA in 22.2 innings of work. He went 3-1 and struck out 17. Hood did not surrender more than one earned run in each of his five appearances. 

As a sophomore: Hood made three appearances on the mound and started twice. He also collected seven at-bats. 

As a freshman: Hood hit .368 in 38 at-bats and drove in a team-high 10 RBI on 14 hits. He led the Chargers in slugging percentage (.447) and on base percentage (.455). Hood also logged 20 innings on the mound in five starts.

At Goffstown: Hood was a member of the 2014 Division II championship team for the Grizzlies. He also was named Offensive Player of the Year and second team all-state. 

Personal: Son of Robbin and Lindsay. Has a brother named Cody. Chris is a Sport Management major.
