Biography

As a senior: Boodakian was named All-NAC Singles First Team, All-NAC Doubles First Team and All-Tournament Team. One of Boodakian's 15 wins, which was tied for second most on the team, came in the NCAA Tournament against Baruch. Boodakian saw action in the No. 2, No. 3, No. 4 and No. 5 slots during the season. He won all four of his NAC matches in straight sets. Boodakian went 4-0 at No. 3, 4-1 at No. 4, 1-0 at No. 2 and 6-3 at No. 5. He finished his career ranked tied for fourth in total victories with 88, third in doubles wins with 45, and seventh in singles victories with 43.

As a junior: Dean Boodakian was named All-NAC Doubles Second Team. He teamed with Ryan Sawyer for a perfect 5-0 record against NAC teams and did not let any opposing team get closer than an 8-5 score. The team also picked up signature wins out of conference against Division II opponents Southern New Hampshire and Saint Michael's. Boodakian led the Chargers with 14 singles wins. One of those victories came against Division I Siena with another two coming against Division II opponents Bentley and Saint Michael's. 

As a sophomore: Boodakian was named NAC Tournament MVP and Player of the Week after winning all four of his matches in the semifinals and finals helping the Chargers to a conference title. Boodakian was responsible for the first point recorded by the men's tennis program in an NCAA tournament match. He won at No. 6 singles 6-0, 6-0. 

As a freshman: Dean saw action primarily at the No. 4 and No. 5 singles flights and went 7-7 in all matches. He also went 10-7 in doubles, which included a 2-0 mark in conference play. 

At Burlington: Dean played varsity tennis, cross country and track for the Red Devils. He was a two-time tennis league all-star, two-time league champion and earned the MIAA sportsmanship award. Dean also was a state champion in winter track. 

Personal: Son of Dori and Paul. Has sisters named Tasha, Ginger, and Carli. Dean is a Sport Management major.
