Summary

Biography

As a senior: Nelson played in 22 games in his final season. He had a 5-for-5 performance from beyond the arc in nine minutes of action in the Chargers' 75-56 victory over Lyndon on December 13. Nelson ended his career tied for ninth in career blocks with 52. He also was named to the NABC Honors Court. 

As a junior: Nelson climbed into 10th place on the all-time blocks list with 15 in his third season. He was second on the team in that category and now has 47. Nelson appeared in all but one of the Chargers' 25 games and added the third most three-pointers made with 25. 

As a sophomore: Kyle started in 15 of his 26 appearances and was tied for the team lead with 14 blocks. He averaged 6.4 points per game to go along with three rebounds per contest. Kyle was third on the team with 35 made three-pointers. 

As a freshman: Kyle averaged 15 minutes per game off the bench in 24 games. He was third on the team with 18 blocks and added five points per game. 

At Milford: Kyle was a member of the Spartans basketball team that won a pair of state championships. He also was named to the All-State Academic team.  

Personal: Son of Darrell and Lisa. Has a brother named Craig. Kyle is a Business Administration major.
