Boston, MA – Jacob Putnam's (North Haverhill, NH) grand slam in the 6th inning played a big role in the Chargers' 12-7 win over Wentworth on Tuesday evening.

Connor Fowler (Hampton Falls, NH) hit an RBI single in the 3rd inning to score Janai Cruz (Manchester, NH) and put the Chargers up 1-0. Mike McLeer (Saco, ME) hit an RBI double to bring Fowler into home plate. McLeer and Evan Dennis (East Ryegate, VT) would also score runs in the inning. The Chargers led 4-0 going into the bottom of the 3rd inning.

In the top of the 6th inning, Fowler was walked with the bases loaded to bring Sean Roeger (Salem, NH) into home plate. Putnam stepped up to the plate next and delivered a grand slam to left field to put the Charges up 10-5.
