2026: Kane took on an increased role out of the Chargers' bullpen during the 2026 season, making 11 appearances and throwing 13.1 innings. Ryan finished the year with a 4.73 ERA, allowing seven earned runs while striking out seven and walking just four. He opened the season with back-to-back scoreless outings, allowing only two hits across 3.2 innings against Massachusetts Maritime and Wentworth. Kane earned his first collegiate win on March 10th at Wentworth after tossing 2.1 scoreless innings and allowing just one hit. He also threw scoreless relief appearances against Apprentice School, Mitchell, Norwich, Saint Joseph (Conn.) and Saint Joseph's (Me.). Kane recorded a season-high three innings against Hobart on March 17th and matched his career-high with two strikeouts in the outing.

2025: Kane made two relief appearances on the mound for the Chargers during the 2025 season. Ryan worked 2.2 innings, allowing seven hits and five earned runs while recording two strikeouts and issuing just one walk. He made his collegiate debut against New England College on April 9th, tossing 1.2 innings and striking out a season-high two batters. Kane made his second appearance on May 2nd at Johnson & Wales (Providence), working an inning of relief without allowing a walk.
