New London, NH – The Colby-Sawyer women's basketball team plays their first of two home games this week on Wednesday evening against the Rivier Raiders in front of the home crowd at the Hogan Sports Center. 

The Chargers are coming off a narrow defeat to Elms last Saturday. The Chargers are 1-3 in conference play and will look to get their second conference win of the season on Wednesday. 

The Raiders are coming off a loss on Saturday, away at Regis. The Raiders are 2-3 in GNAC play, having beaten Dean and Mitchell a couple weeks ago. 

The Chargers: 

• Makenna Grillone (Walpole, NH) – The junior guard is coming off her sixth double-digit scoring game of the season, having dropped 17 points on Saturday. 

• Elyza Mitchell (Spofford, NH) – The senior forward is currently the GNAC leader in FG Pct, shooting 55.4% from the field. 

• Lauren MacDonald (Tilton, NH) – The sophomore guard scored 13 points last game and is averaging 10.2 points per game. 

The Raiders: 

• Erika Fantauzzi – The junior guard scored 13 points for the Raiders in their last game. 

• Gianna Donato – The sophomore guard is averaging 14.9 points per game. 

• Sydney Perry – The sophomore forward/center is averaging 11.1 points per game and 8.3 rebounds per game. 

The Historical Matchup: 

The two teams played in Nashua last year with the Raiders coming away with the victory. The Chargers are 10-6 against Rivier all-time.

The Chargers will stay at home all of this week, as they face Mitchell on Saturday afternoon.
