WOMEN'S BASKETBALL HOSTS FIRST CONFERENCE HOME GAME AGAINST DEAN

New London, NH – The Colby-Sawyer women's basketball team will compete in their second GNAC match of the season on Saturday against Dean College at the Hogan Sports Center. 

Since entering 2026, the Chargers are 1-2. Throughout the entire season, the Chargers are 3-2 at home and have won their last two home matches. The Chargers will look to claim their first GNAC win of the season on Saturday. 

This will be the fifth game since the turn of the new year for the Bulldogs, and their third GNAC game of the season. The Bulldogs will be looking to secure their first GNAC win of the 2025-2026 season on Saturday. 

The Chargers: 

  • Elyza Mitchell (Spofford, NH) – The senior forward scored 11 points last weekend and is averaging 11.8 points per game and 7.8 rebounds per game. 

  • Lauren MacDonald (Tilton, NH) – The sophomore guard scored 11 points last weekend and is averaging 10.1 points per game. 

  • Emily Leonard (Chester, NH) – The first year guard is averaging 10.2 points per game. 

The Bulldogs: 

  • Abigail Lacy – The senior forward is averaging 19.7 points per game and scored 21 on Wednesday. 

  • Kendrah Doane – The junior guard is averaging 8.5 points per game and 8.2 rebounds per game. 

  • Jordan Ellis – The junior guard is averaging 9.5 points per game. 

The Historical Matchup: 

The two teams played last season in Massachusetts with the Chargers winning the matchup. This will be the sixth all-time meeting between the two teams. 

Looking Ahead: 

After this one, the Chargers will play away against New England College on Tuesday evening.
