New London, N.H. - The Colby-Sawyer men's tennis team picked up a crucial 5-2 win over Endicott College Monday afternoon. The Chargers improve their Conference of New England (CNE) record to 3-3.
Rapid Recap Game:
- In doubles action, the duos of junior Peyton Meuse (Newport, N.H.) and Aidan Jensen (Essex, Vt.) and first-years David Dvorak (Prague, Czech Republic) and Jacob Riis (Vineyard Haven, Mass.) would claim 6-3, 6-4 wins respectively to take an early 1-0 lead over the Gulls.
- The Chargers continued to dominate in singles action picking up four singles wins to take the 5-2 victory over the Gulls. Junior Zsombor Homonnay (Dunakeszi, Hungary) won 6-1, 6-2 at number two while Dvorak won 6-4, 6-2 at number four.

"David and I winning the doubles match at number three was both crucial and also a motivator for the other guys on the team as we kept our composure and got the win. The loud support and cheering from my teammates helped me stay cool against a tricky opponent as well as the unpredictable wind. Going forward, I hope we can keep our momentum rolling."
