CHARGERS OPEN SEASON AT SNHU SPRING INVITE

MANCHESTER, N.H. - The Colby-Sawyer women's track team kicked off the start of their 2025 season with a bang during the SNHU Spring Invitational on Friday.

Rapid Recap:
  • First Year, Lila Brillhart (Underhill, VT) continued her fantastic rookie campaign as she took on the 100m hurdles, where she would go on to finish fourth overall with a time of 15.88, breaking a near 20 year old school record. Brillhart would later compete in the 100m dash where she would run a 13.40, which was best for an 18th place finish. Teammate, Annaliese Rowell (Sunapee, NH) would go on to also get a personal best in the 100m hurdles, running 17.62.
  • Leah O'Neill (Peabody, Mass.) would compete in the 3000m steeplechase for the first time this year as she would finish with a time of 13:23.68. Fellow Junior, Adriana Nadeau (Londonderry, N.H.) would compete in the open 5000m where she would finish fifth overall in a time of 19:34.78.
  • Kelly Ranta (Landon, N.H.) would make her debut on the track as she would compete in the 800m for the team, finishing in a time of 2:44.56.
  • On the field side of things, Isabella LaPlume led the Chargers in discus as she would toss a 27.91m throw, making for a fifth place finish. Teddy Pollack (Arlington, Mass.) had a big day as she would throw 23.37m in discus, 28.79m in hammer, and 26.88m in javelin. Emma Silva-Henningsen (Attleboro, Mass.) would also have a great day with throws, as she threw 23.60m in discus, and 7.06m in shot put.
