Chargers Roll to Their Fourth Straight Victory

Box Score Hanover, N.H. - The Colby-Sawyer men's tennis team extended their win streak to four games after defeating Wheaton College 4-3 Tuesday evening.  The Chargers improve their overall record to 7-4 with today's win.
 
Rapid Recap Game 1:  
  • In doubles action, the Chargers would claim the opening point as the duos of junior Ashton Meuse (Newport, N.H.) and junior Zsombor Homonnay (Dunakeszi, Hungary) picked up a 7-6 win at number one while first-year David Dvorak (Prague, Czech Republic) and first-year Jacob Riis (Vineyard Haven, Mass.) picked up a 6-3 win at number three.  
  • In singles action, Dvorak would claim a 6-3, 4-6, 10-7 win at number four while Homonnay cruised to a 6-4, 6-2 win at number two. Ashton Meuse would solidify the Chargers victory winning 3-6, 6-4, 10-5 at the number one position.

The Chargers return to action on Saturday when they host Conference of New England (CNE) powerhouse Nichols College with a 1:00 PM start.
