JEFFERSONVILLE, V.T. - The Colby-Sawyer Alpine Ski team competed at the Saint Michael's Carnival the last two days at Smugglers Notch Resort with Grand Slalom and Slalom where five Chargers would qualify for a second run on Slalom.
Rapid Recap:
- The team kicked off the carnival with Giant Slalom where no members of the team qualified for second runs
- Saturday was Slalom that see five different Chargers qualify for second runs. First would be Junior, Jacklyn Tracy (Epping, N.H.) for the women's side who qualified for her first second run of the season after placing 59th after the first run.. Unfortuanlty, Tracy would get a DNF in the second run.
- Junior, Jackson Musial (Bartlett, N.H.) would continue his strong season as he would lead the Chargers through both Slalom runs. Musial would finish 35th overall after both runs. Graduate Student, Jared Marshall (Denmark, Maine) would qualify for his first second run of the season as he would take home 40th. Benjamin Neeves (Gig Harbor, Wash.) would be right behind Marshall finishing in 42nd. Henry Regrut (Telluride, CO) would be the last Charger to compete for a second run as he would finish 43rd.

The Chargers will compete close to home as they take on the Dartmouth Carnival kicking things off with Slalom on February 7th.
