Plymouth, N.H. – The Colby-Sawyer women's volleyball team played Plymouth State University in a non-conference matchup on Wednesday. 

Rapid Recap: 

• The Panthers went ahead 11-4 in the first set. Leah Barlow (Bourne, Mass.) and Brenna Piller (Simsbury, Conn.) would each get a kill. The Panthers would have the lead at 17-10. Kamryn Brakemeier (Fort Worth, Texas) would get two kills for the Chargers, but the hosts won the first set. 

• The second set would start with the Panthers taking an 8-4 lead. Brakemeier, Addison Sasnett (Virginia Beach, VA), Piller, and Bree Bacon (Brookline, Mass.) would each get a kill. The Panthers would go on to win the second set. 

• A strong start in the third set would propel the Chargers to a 12-6 lead. Sasnett and Brakemeier would each record a kill as the Chargers would get a 17-16 lead. Brakemeier recorded a service ace, but the Panthers would win the third set.  

Inside the Numbers: 

• Brakemeier led the Chargers in kills with nine. 

• Bacon led the Chargers in assists with 20. 

• Piller led the Chargers in digs with eight.

The Chargers return to New London to play against Simmons and Saint Joseph's College of Maine in the Hogan Sports Center on Saturday.
