NEW LONDON, N.H. - The Colby-Sawyer men's soccer team hosted the current GNAC top seed, University of Saint Joseph's (Conn.) on Saturday afternoon.

Both the Blue Jays and the Chargers would go back and forth as neither team was taking shots early on. This game was mostly possession until the Chargers would get a few attempts. The Blue Jays would take a 1-0 after a foul in the box led Nicholas Simpson to take the penalty kick.

It was more of a hard fought battle between the two teams for the first 22 minutes of the second half until another foul called in the box saw the Blue Jays take a 2-0 lead. The Blue Jays would pick up two more goals to round out the game.

The Chargers had many opportunities to score, with many shots just going outside the posts. Colby-Sawyer ripped 7 shots in the second half during a comeback attempt.Â
