NEW LONDON, N.H. - Bridget O'Connell (Peabody, Mass.) was named to the NEWISA All-New England second team as another accolade to add to her spectacular career with the Chargers.

Since joining the Chargers in 2021, O'Connell has made her mark on the soccer program for Colby-Sawyer. This year was no different as she set multiple records both season, and career that put her on top of the record books. She scored a career high 22 goals this year in 21 starts for the Chargers as well as picked up a career high in assists with 7. After having a career year, she became the all-time leading goal scorer and points leading for the program. 

Last year, O'Connell was named to the NEWISA All-New England third team. Being named to the second team this year marks her highest recognition from the NEWISA, cementing her legacy as one of the best women's soccer players to come through the school so far.
