CHARGERS CONTINUE SETTING CAREER BESTS AT RIVERHAWK INVITATIONAL

BOSTON, MASS. - The Colby-Sawyer women's track team traveled to Boston for day two of the UMASS Lowell Riverhawk Invitational, Saturday morning with a handful of athletes looking to have big days. 

Rapid Recap:
  • The distance trio comprised of Adriana Nadeau (Londonderry, N.H.), Leah O'Neill (Peabody, Mass.), and Maisy Hill (Bristol, Vt.) all took on the mile looking to kick off the day for the Chargers as they were in search for some new personal bests. Nadeau ran her ran to a new personal best, beating her previous time by just a second as she crossed the line in 5:46.50. O'Neill continued to run away personal best, as she beat her previous best by almost 30 seconds running a 6:02.63. Hill rounded out the mile for the Chargers crossing the line in 6:17.74.
  • O'Neill and Nadeau would go on to take on the 3k later in the day as they took on the distance double for the Chargers. Nadeau would cross the line first, running at 11:37.21 while O'Neill would go on to finish in 12:06.20 to round out the distance side of the day.
  • Payton Dugan (Vincennes, Ind.) would be the lone sprinter for the Chargers as she took on the 60m dash. She would go on to run a 9.59 to end the day for the Chargers.
Up Next:
The Chargers will take some time to get ready to take on the YSCC Invitational, hosted by Hampshire College at Smith College on Saturday, February 1st.
