FRANKLIN, MASSACHUSETTS - The Colby-Sawyer men's basketball fell to Dean College in a Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) road game Saturday afternoon 89-70.

- The Chargers struck first on Saturday afternoon with first-year Elijah Thomas (Fairfax, Virginia) scoring a layup, followed by a three-pointer from first-year Andrew Blunt (Alexandria, Virginia), giving the visitors an early 5-2 lead. The teams exchanged layups and free throws in the opening minutes, but the Bulldogs went on a 12-3 run to take control early. First-year Brady Rogers (Newfields, N.H.) scored two free throws and hit a three-pointer to trim the Bulldogs' lead to three points with 10:15 left in the half. A minute later, graduate student Bryson Jenkins (Gary, Ind.) nailed a three-pointer to tie the game at 21-21. The Bulldogs answered with back-to-back jumpers, pushing their lead to four points, but first-year Kayden Hoskins (Littleton, N.H.) responded with a three-pointer to cut the Bulldogs' lead to one point. The teams continued to trade shots in the final five minutes of the first half, but the Bulldogs pulled away ending the half with a 43-31 advantage.
- The Bulldogs opened the second half with an 8-0 run, but senior Chaz Cullum (Omaha, Neb.) responded by driving to the basket for a layup to get the visitors on the board. The Chargers fought back with a layup from Jenkins and a three-pointer from Blunt, narrowing the gap. The Bulldogs continued to hit shots, extending their lead to 16 points with 14:24 remaining. Hoskins then sank a three-pointer to spark a 10-2 run for the Chargers, cutting the deficit to eight points with 12:53 left to play. The Bulldogs maintained their offensive momentum, extending their lead late in the half and secured the 89-70 victory.

- Blunt paced the Chargers with 18 points (7-14 FG, 4-9 3 PT), two rebounds, and three assists while Cullum recorded 15 points (7-16 FG, 1-2 FT), eight rebounds, and three steals. Rogers tallied 14 points (3-7 FG, 3-3 3 PT, 5-7 FT), two rebounds, and one steal for the Chargers.
- Greg Farrow recorded 27 points (9-14 FG, 5-8 3 PT, 4-5 FT), two rebounds, and one steal for the Bulldogs, while Billy Ray Barnes chipped in 27 points (10-14 FG, 1-2 3 PT, 6-6 FT), eight rebounds, and six assists. Ja'maine Davenport added 14 points (7-10 FG) and five rebounds.
- The Chargers shot 37.5% from the field and 38.7% from beyond the arc. The Bulldogs shot 53.1% from the field and 63.6% from the charity stripe.
