Adams & Keleher End Colby-Sawyer Careers in MIT Last Chance Meet

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – On Thursday night seniors Chase Adams (Brookline, N.H.) and senior Ashley Keleher (Mashpee, Mass.) both ended their Colby-Sawyer careers at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Twilight Qualifier with great times. 

Rapid Recap:
  • Prior to the meet both Adams and Keleher were named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Athletes of the Year.
  • Keleher raced in both the 200 meter and the 400 meter in Cambridge. She finished the 200 meter in second place at a time of 25.20, before winning the 400 meter dash at a program record time of 56.33.
  • Adams competed in the 400 meter hurdles competition finishing in sixth at his second personal best time of 54.99. 
Post Meet Press:
"After a long outdoor season, I'm so happy to finally break my record in the 400 by 0.63 seconds", said senior Ashley Keleher (Mashpee, Mass.). "My previous record was from April 2023 so it was about time. It was a fun and hectic meet under the lights tonight, and I'm also extremely proud of Chase for racing his 2nd fastest time in the 400 meter hurdles ever. It was a great way for the GNAC Outdoor Track Athletes of the Year to go out!"
