NEW LONDON, N.H. – The Colby-Sawyer women's basketball team is ready for Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) playoff action on Monday as the Chargers look to upset Regis in Weston.

Game Headlines:
Colby-Sawyer is looking to upset Regis for the second time in the last five days after defeating the Pride by a 80-76 overtime final last Wednesday in New London. If Colby-Sawyer does pickup the win on Monday it would be the first postseason win for the Chargers since February 21st, 2017 in a 79-55 win over Maine Maritime Academy in the NAC Quarterfinals.
Colby-Sawyer Headlines:
- The Chargers earned a 8-17 record with a 5-9 conference record behind first year head coach Tim Viola. Colby-Sawyer averaged 54.5 points per game in 2023-24, ranking 6th in the GNAC in three-pointers made (169) in a new pace and space offense.
- Junior Courtney Brewster (Castleton, Vt.) led the offensive attack averaging 10.3 points per game on 46.2% from the floor. Brewster also tallied 6.4 rebounds per game and 1.4 assists per game. Junior Marissa Holt (Alfred, Maine) followed averaging 9.6 points, 3.3 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.3 steals. Sophomore Elyza Mitchell (Spofford, N.H.) continued to impress in her second season averaging 7.2 points, 7.2 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.5 steals per game. First year Catherine Chick (Glen, N.H.) rounds out the Chargers to watch averaging 5.9 points and 5.9 rebounds per game for Colby-Sawyer.
Regis Headlines:
- The Pride finished the season with a 10-15 record and a 8-6 conference record. Regis has scored big conference wins at home this season defeating Rivier by a 74-68 final pn February 3rd and Albertus Magnus by a 72-68 final on February 10th.
- Madi Zancan led the Pride averaging 18.7 points, 9.3 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 2.0 steals and 1.2 blocks per game. Courtney Doherty followed averaging 14.8 points, 5.3 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 2.4 steals per game.

- The Chargers own a 16-8 record over Regis all-time including a two-win streak headed into Monday's game.
