NEW LONDON, Conn.
– The Colby-Sawyer men's track and field team competed at the Silfen Invitational over the weekend hosted by Connecticut College. The Chagres ended the meet in 20
th place out of 20 teams with four points.

- In the 110-meter hurdles, junior Chase Adams (Brookline, N.H.) captured sixth place after crossing the finish line with a time of 16.10. Sophomore Achius Wolfley (Lords Valley, Pa.) also ran the event clocking in at 19.14.
- First year JJ Davis (Bradford, N.H.) secured 13th place in the 200-meter dash with a time of 23.01. Davis also competed in the 100-meter dash finishing 17th overall with a time of 11.33. Sophomore Jonathan Platti (North Granby, Conn.) also competed in the 100-meter dash finishing with a time of 12.11 while first year Kyle Gassiraro followed closely behind at 12.32.
- In the 5,000-meter run, sophomore Dylan Flewelling (Oakland, Maine) ran the event in 15:47.72 which was good for 19th place. Sophomore Martin Steucek (Ashburnham, Mass.) also competed in the race finishing with a time of 17:05.97.
- In the 400-meter dash, sophomore Jordan Kofos (Kittery, Maine) took 20th place after clocking in at 53.68. Senior Dean Miller (Andover, Mass.) ran the event as well finishing with a time of 56.64.
- Sophomore Hayden Goyette (Epsom, N.H.) was the top Charger in the 800-meter run finishing in 30th place with a time of 2:01.78. Junior Jordan Piechowski (Windham, Maine) was next to finish the race in 2:14.69 while sophomore Daniel Castriotta (Barre, Mass.) finished with a time of 2:27.53.
- In the 4x100-meter relay, the Chargers came in eighth place featuring Adams, Miller, Kofos, and junior Joseph Branchaud (Tewksbury, Mass.) with a time of 44.29.
- In the field events, senior Connor Molkenthin (East Haddam, Conn.) competed in the javelin throw securing 27th place with a 38.22-meter mark. Sophomore Connor Moynihan (Tewksbury, Mass.) took part in the hammer throw event taking 29th place with a mark of 25.33-meters.
