PLYMOUTH, N.H. – The Colby-Sawyer women's track and field team had a successful day competing in the Panther Invitational II hosted by Plymouth State University on Saturday. The Chargers placed third out of the eight teams participating in the meet with a team score of 75.

- Junior Ashley Keleher (Mashpee, Mass.) continued her record-breaking year setting a new 60-meter dash indoor school record for the fifth consecutive time this season. She previously set the record at the Wheaton Invitational with a time of 8.27. Today, Keleher placed second overall in the 60-meter finals clocking in at 8.19 to set a new Colby-Sawyer indoor record. She also secured two first place finishes in both the 200-meter dash a time of 27.62 as well as the triple jump event with a mark of 10.51 meters.
- Senior Shannon O'Connell (Peabody, Mass.) ran the 5,000-meter race in 17:17.41 which was good for a first-place finish. Following closely behind her was sophomore Samantha Carus (Brownfield, Maine), Tessa Millette (Barrington, N.H.), and sophomore Heather Hanson (Barnstable, Mass.) who secured the third, fourth, and fifth place spots.
- Hanson was the only Chargers to compete in the 400-meter dash and came in second overall with a time of 1:07.67.
- In the 3,000-meter run, first year Leah O'Neill (Peabody, Mass.) placed third with a time of 12:21.64 and first year Adriana Nadeau (Londonderry, N.H.) was right behind her clocking in at 12:25.15 for a fourth place.
- In the field events, junior Faith Mazzapica (Tewksbury, Mass.) competed in the weight throw event placing nineth overall with a throw of 10.33 meters. She also competed in the shot-put event earning 19th place with a mark of 7.82 meters.
