BOSTON, Mass. – The Colby-Sawyer men's track and field team competed in the 2023 New England Division III Indoor Track & Field Championship this weekend at the New Balance Track.

- Junior Chase Adams (Brookline, N.H.) qualified for the 60-meter hurdles and placed 21st overall in the preliminaries with a time of 8.89. He also was a member of the men's 4x400-meter relay squad featuring senior Dean Miller (Andover, Mass.), first year JJ Davis (Bradford, N.H.), and sophomore Jonathan Platti (North Granby, Conn.) coming in 14th place with a time of 3:29.36. The relay team broke the previous indoor school record which was set last year at the 2022 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GANC) Championship also featuring Adams and Miller by seven seconds.
- The Chargers also competed in the 4x800-meter relay featuring junior Jesse Gushee (West Linn, Ore.), junior Jordan Piechowski (Windham, Maine), sophomore Dylan Flewelling (Oakland, Maine), and sophomore Hayden Goyette (Epsom, N.H.). The relay team finished in 19th place after clocking in at 8:31.69 which set a new indoor school record. The previous 4x800-meter relay record was set back in 2017 at Plymouth State University by Brandon Legendre, Alex Wright, Bruin Smith, and Matt Royer.
- In the men's distance medley, Colby-Sawyer placed 18th overall with Goyette, Flewelling, first year Kyle Gassiraro, and sophomore Aidan Weagle (Hudson, Mass.) finishing the event in 11:14.26.
