BOSTON, Mass. – The Colby-Sawyer men's track and field team competed in the 2023 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Indoor Track & Field Championship on Sunday at Boston University Track and Tennis Center. The men placed third overall with a team score of 104 points.

- Sophomore Hayden Goyette (Epsom, N.H.) had an excellent day for the Chargers after clinching two first place finishes in the 800-meter run and one mile run. Goyette clocked in at 2:02.45 to win the 800-meter run and 4:39.82 to secure first place in the one-mile run. He also was a member of the men's distance medley squad featuring sophomore Jordan Kofos (Kittery, Maine), junior Jordan Piechowski (Windham, Maine), and sophomore Dylan Flewelling (Oakland, Maine) placing first with a time of 11:51.43.
- Flewelling also earned two first place finishes for the Chargers at the Championship meet. He placed first overall in the 5,000-meter run with a time of 17:04.16 as well as the 3,000-meter run with a time of 9:44.83.
- Junior Chase Adams (Brookline, N.H.) had a stellar race in the 60-meter hurdles after finishing first overall with a time of 8.78. With that finish, Adams sets a new indoor 60-meter hurdles record which he previously set at the 2022 GNAC Championship by 0.32 seconds. He also competed in the 200-meter dash earning a third-place finish after clocking in at 23.21.
- In the 60-meter dash finals, senior Dean Miller (Andover. Mass.) led the Chargers with a sixth-place finish. Right behind Miller was first year JJ Davis (Bradford, N.H.) and junior Joseph Branchaud (Tewksbury, Mass.) taking the seventh and eighth place spots.
- Adams and Davis were a part of the men's 4x400 meter relay squad along with first year Kyle Gassiraro and sophomore Jonathan Platti (North Granby, Conn.) to help Colby-Sawyer clinch second place with a time of 3:41.71.
- In the field events, sophomore Conor Moynihan (Tewksbury, Mass.) competed in the shot-put event placing fourth overall with a mark of 10.38 meters. He also secured seventh place in the weight throw event after getting an 8.45-meter mark. Davis placed fourth in the long jump event after getting a mark of 6.12 meters. Kofos and sophomore Drew Doughty (Bedford, N.H.) also competed in the long jump taking the sixth and seventh place spots in the event.
