NEW LONDON, N.H. – The Colby-Sawyer men's soccer team ended its 2023 season on Tuesday falling to Norwich by a 3-0 final.

- The Cadets offense was going from the start getting back-to-back chances in the first 15 minutes with first year Alex Gomez-Agudelo (Mesquite, Texas). In the 21st minute Norwich struck first as Brice Eka dished an assist to Troy Galler who gave the Cadets the lead. In the 31st minute the lead doubled as Eka finished a pass from Jami Lashua. Another quick strike just two minutes later gave the visitors a 3-0 lead as Lashua scored on a feed from Galler. First year Brayden Rapoza (New Durham, N.H.) had the first shot for the Chargers, but it was comfortably saved by Nicolas Lanza. First year Kaden Lewis (Lunenburg, Mass.) also had one final chance in the 42nd minute but Lanza made another stop.
- The Cadets tried to find a fourth goal early in the second half getting four shots in the first five minutes, but each were off target. Lewis tried to get the Chargers back into it, but his shot stayed high. First year Cullen Visscher (Katy, Texas) added an opportunity but was stopped by Lanza. The Chargers had one final shot in the 86th minute as first year Owen Barnwell (Derry, N.H.) fire a rocket stopped by Lanza.

- Gomez-Agudelo played the full 90 for the Chargers recording four saves.
- Lewis led the offense with four shots all on target.

Colby-Sawyer ends the season with a record of 3-11-4 and will miss the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) playoffs.
