NEW LONDON, N.H. – The Colby-Sawyer women's tennis lost to Franklin Pierce University by a final of 9-0. 

Rapid Recap:

• The Chargers trailed 3-0 after the doubles round. The best performance in doubles came from sophomore Isabella Gutierrez Avendaño (Tegucigalpa, Honduras) and Lily Tria (Westerly, R.I.) in number two doubles falling 8-6. 
• In singles action junior Alyssa Owens (Grain Valley, MO.) fell in the number one singles slot by a 6-2, 7-5 final giving the best effort from the home team. Gutierrez Avendaño also fell by the same score in number three singles.
