NEW LONDON, N.H. - The women's tennis team stayed undefeated in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) play on Sunday picking up a 9-0 win.

Rapid Recap:

• The Chargers got the early 3-0 advantage after the doubles round highlighted by a 8-0 win in number three doubles by sophomore Mei Genest (Keene, N.H.) and first year Halle Norton (Manchester, N.H.). For Norton this become her first collegiate point scored in a match.
• In the singles action Colby-Sawyer had big contributions from #3-#6 singles as sophomore Isabella Gutierrez Avendaño (Tegucigalpa, Honduras), sophomore Elise Hogan (Duxbury, Mass.), sophomore Lily Tria (Westerly, R.I.) and junior Mary Thoms (Northwood, N.H.) each won their matches (6-0, 6-0). 
• In number one singles sophomore Grace Carpenter (Milford, N.H.) picked up an impressive 6-2, 6-2 win. Senior Emily Hill (Wilmington, Mass.) also picked up a big win in #2 singles winning by a 6-0, 6-1 final.

Next Up:
The Chargers will head to Weston, Mass. to face off with Regis College on October 1st.
