CASTLETON, VT. – The Colby-Sawyer women's soccer team faced off with Castleton University on Saturday night and lost 3-0. Sophomore Sam Bishop (Windham, N.H.) had the lone Charger shot on goal.

• Castleton struck first on their first offensive possession of the game. Julia Carone scored 53 seconds into the first half. Junior Alexis LeBreton (Bangor, Maine) had five first half saves on six Spartan shots.
• Castleton scored its second goal of the game 40 seconds into the second half. Brytney Moore found the back of the net to give the Spartans a two-goal advantage. The Chargers best scoring opportunity came in the 76^th minute when Bishop fired a shot on goal, that was saved by the Castleton goalkeeper. The Spartans scored their third and final goal of the night in the 88^th minute when Jordan Mattison snuck one past LeBreton.
