NEW LONDON, N.H. – The Colby-Sawyer College women's soccer battled with Regis College, but ended up losing on Wednesday afternoon. Freshman Bridget O' Connell (Peabody, Mass.) had two goals for the Chargers in the defeat.

The Summary

• Regis came out of the gate swinging, scoring on their first offensive possession of the game. The Pride followed up their first goal with their second a little over 10 minutes later. O'Connell had the Chargers best chance of the half in the 20^th minute which was saved by the Regis goalkeeper. The Pride added another goal at the end of the half to go into the locker rooms up 3-0.
• In the second half, the Chargers struck first. O'Connell cut the Regis lead to two on a goal just outside the box. The Pride added another goal to go back up by three. A penalty kick by Regis put them up by four goals.  Sophomore Sam Bishop (Windham, N.H.) had a shot that flew right. In the closing five minutes, O'Connell found the back of the net for her second goal of the game. Bishop had the assist on the goal.

• Junior Hannah Marquis (Weare, N.H.) had two shots for the Chargers.
• Junior Alexis LeBreton (Bangor, Maine) had six saves.
