The Summary
- The first half was a back and forth battle between the two teams. Sophomore Sam Bishop (Windham, N.H.) had the first shot of the afternoon for the Chargers in the 28th minute. O'Connell took a shot on the next offensive possession for the Chargers, unfortunately the shot missed right. Towards the end of the half, Bishop had another opportunity for Colby-Sawyer that missed high. Heading into halftime the score was still at zero for both teams.
- The second half started just like the first, a battle between both teams. The Sharks had a shot on goal early in the half, which was saved by LeBreton. Junior Hannah Marquis (Weare, N.H) had a shot on goal half way through the half, this was the Chargers best chance to date. LeBreton had another save in the 68th minute to keep the score tied at zero. In the 79th minute O'Connell scored her first goal of the season and gave the Chargers the lead. They would hold the lead for their first victory of the season.
