NEW LONDON, N.H. – Women's tennis hosted the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Semi-Finals on Saturday, October 16
th. The Chargers overpowered the Blue Jays of the University of Saint Joseph's with a completion score of 5-0, advancing to the GNAC Championship round.

- The women began their triumph over the Blue Jay's in doubles with two shutouts coming from #1 doubles pair, freshman Grace Carpenter (Milford, N.H.) and junior Emily Hill (Wilmington, Mass.), and #3 doubles pair, senior Amira Eid (Pelham, N.H.) and freshman Amelia Campanella (Chepachet, R.I.). The sophomore Lindsay Macdonald (South Yarmouth, Mass.) and freshman Elise Hogan (Duxbury, Mass.) also picked up a victory in doubles play, defeating the opposing Blue Jays 8-3.
- During singles play, Hill competed in the #1 spot, defeating her opponent 6-0, and 6-1. Following with the exact same score was Carpenter closing out the singles play with a win.
