PLYMOUTH, N.H. - February 8, 2020 - The Colby-Sawyer men's indoor track and field team returned to Plymouth State for the second time this season to compete at the Panther Invitational held at the ALLWell North facility.
RESULTS
The Chargers finished 11th with seven points in a meet that featured strong competition from Division II and III.Â
Tristan McNight and
Connor Molkenthin came away with personal records on the day. McNight clocked in with a personal best time of 5:19.90 in the miles. Molkenthin posted a personal best time of 8.06 in the 60-meter and 26.45 in the 200-meter.Â
In the 3k,
Peter Bakker led the Chargers in third place with a time of 9:19.79. He was closely followed by
Ben Jones in eighth place in 9:29.96.Â
Jacob Nichol turned in a couple of solid performances. He finished eighth in the 60-meter hurdles prelims in 9.60 to qualify for the finals. He added an 11th place finish in the 200-meter in a time of 25.03.Â
Alex Kusnarowis placed ninth in the shot put with a distance of 11.92 meters.Â
Dean Miller finished 20th in the 60-meter in 7.93.Â
The Chargers will compete at the inaugural Great Northeast Athletic Conference Indoor Championships on Feb. 16.Â
