NORTHAMPTON, Mass. - January 18, 2020 - The Colby-Sawyer women's indoor track and field team competed at the Mary Grinaker Invitational hosted by Smith College on Saturday afternoon. 

RESULTS

Laurel Blackman kept her impressive indoor season going with a second place finish in the pole vault. She registered a height of 2.80 meters and was very close to achieving a school record. 

Macy Lapan posted a couple of PRs on the day. She clocked in at 8.91 in the 60-meter dash and achieved a distance of 4.44 meters in the long jump. 

Izzy Poulson came away with a personal best mark of 8.32 meters in the shot put.

In the weight throw, Emily Vrooman achieved a personal record distance of 10.06 meters in the shot put.  

The Chargers are back in action next weekend at Southern Maine.
