PLYMOUTH, N.H. - December 7, 2019 - The Colby-Sawyer men's indoor track & field team began the 2019-20 season at the Plymouth State Winter Classic. The Chargers finished third out of six teams with 58 points. 

RESULTS

Shawn Spenard qualified for the finals of the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.70. He then lowered his time to tie a personal best mark of 7.67 and place fifth.   
  
In the shot put, a pair of Chargers posted personal records. Alex Kusnarowis came away with a mark of 12.27 meters to beat his previous best by five feet. He placed eighth. Jacob Walker finished 14th with a distance of 8.84 meters. 
  
Ben Jones and Peter Bakker finished as the top two collegiate runners in the 3000-meter. Jones clocked in at 9:38.91, followed by Bakker at 9:40.70. 

The Chargers will resume competition on Jan. 11 at Bowdoin.
