NEW LONDON, N.H. – November 8, 2019 – The Colby-Sawyer women's swim team earned a 147-123 victory over Plymouth State on Friday evening at the Knight Natatorium.

Leilani Marlow (Kapolei, Hawaii), first-year
Gracie O'Callaghan (Waltham, Mass.), junior
Jinnae Jang (Fall River, Mass.), and first-year
Nina Boudreau (Hallowell, Maine) began the meet by winning the 200-yard medley relay in 1:59.32.
Rebecca Lee (Redding, Conn.) continued her great season in the distance events with a victory in the 1000-freestyle. She clocked in first at 11:59.85.
O'Callaghan took top honors in the 200-freestyle with a time of 2:13.09.
Marlow cruised to a victory in the 50-backstroke winning by more than five seconds at 30.10.
Boudreau picked up a pair of 100 wins. She was first in the butterfly with a time of 1:06.07 and followed with a time of 1:00.58 to win the freestyle.
Jang also won two individual events. She earned the victory in the 100-breaststroke by more than five seconds. She touched the wall in 1:16.02. Jang then posted a time of 1:06.56 to win the 100-IM by nearly six seconds.
The evening ended the way it began, with a Colby-Sawyer relay victory. Lee, Boudreau, Marlow and O'Callaghan combined for 1:50.47 to take first place in the 200-freestyle relay by more than seven seconds.
The Chargers have a quick turnaround with a 1 p.m. meet at Smith on Saturday. Plymouth State returns to the pool next weekend with a double-dual meet at Eastern Connecticut with Western New England.
