NEW LONDON, N.H. – October 4, 2019 – The Colby-Sawyer women's swimming and diving team kicked off the 2019-20 season by hosting Saint Joseph's College of Maine on Friday evening at the Knight Natatorium. The Chargers won by a score of 187-58.
RESULTS
Junior
Jinnae Jang (Fall River, Mass.), first-year
Gracie O'Callaghan (Waltham, Mass.), sophomore
Kelsey Brown (Douglas, Mass.) and first-year
Marin Leshnower (Boonton, N.J.) combined to win the 200 medley relay in 2:00.40 to begin the evening.

Zoe Daudier (Milford, N.H.) finished the meet by winning the 200 freestyle relay in 1:49.43.
First-year
Leilani Marlow (Kapolei, Hawaii) took top honors in the 50 backstroke (29.61) and the 100 backstroke (1:05.48).
Jang also came away with individual wins in the 100 freestyle, with the only sub-minute swim of 58.73, and the 50 breaststroke (35.12).
Brown also posted a pair of victories in the 100 IM (1:06.45) and the 200 freestyle (2:08.98).
O'Callaghan finished first in the 100 breaststroke by more than seven seconds with a time of 1:16.47.
Rebecca Lee (Redding, Conn.) cruised to a pair of long distance victories. She won the 1000 in 12:21.33 and followed with a time of 6:04.09 to win the 500 freestyle.
In the 50 butterfly, first-year
Nina Boudreau (Hallowell, Maine) edged Leshnower 28.89 to 29.06 to give the Chargers the top two spots. Boudreau also won the 100 butterfly (1:05.55), while Leshnower was first in the 50 freestyle (27.72).
The Chargers host Keene State next Saturday at 1 p.m., while the Monks host Albertus Magnus next Saturday at noon.
