NEW LONDON, N.H. – October 12, 2019 – The Colby-Sawyer College men's soccer team earned a 3-0 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) victory over Rivier on senior day Saturday afternoon at Kelsey Field.

Prior to the match, Colby-Sawyer honored its three seniors Jarod Parkins (North Kingstown, R.I.), Danilo Salgado (Essex Junction, Vt.) and Kieran Thapalia (Albany, N.Y.).

Colby-Sawyer improves to 3-7-3 overall and 3-3 in the GNAC. The Chargers travel to Anna Maria on Tuesday for a 3 p.m. match, which was originally scheduled for Wednesday evening. Rivier drops to 1-13-1 overall and 0-7 in conference play. The Raiders continue a stretch of six-straight road games next Saturday with a 4:30 p.m. GNAC tilt at Regis.

The Chargers broke the scoreless tie in the 41st minute when sophomore Tim Driscoll (Framingham, Mass.) sent a free kick towards the front of the net that was flicked by sophomore Couper Gunn (Easthampton, Mass.) to junior Bryce Capunitan (Lisbon, Conn.) who converted his first collegiate goal.
